Ed Shiller
Principal
Ed Shiller has long been a creative force in communications, earning distinction as a dynamic and charismatic media trainer, public speaker, mentor, team leader, writer and strategic thinker.
During the past 30 years, Ed has successfully generated positive media coverage and public awareness for major public- and private-sector organizations, navigated clients through the perils of crisis and controversy, acted as media spokesperson, and created and implemented comprehensive communications strategies that advanced bottom-line goals and objectives.
He has trained thousands of C-Suite executives, politicians, entrepreneurs. trade association and union leaders and organizational spokespersons.
Ed served as Director, Public Affairs for Falconbridge Limited; Vice-President, Public Affairs for Kidd Creek Mines Limited and The Canadian Manufacturers Association; taught strategic communications and media relations at Seneca College and the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies, and founded Ed Shiller Communications, Yorkland Publishing, Shiller Media and In the Spotlight Media Training.
Earlier in his career, Ed held senior editorial positions with The New York Times News Service, Reuters News Agency, Radio Denmark and The Toronto Star and contributed to Newsweek, The New York Times, The (London) Sunday Times, The Financial Times of London and many other leading newspapers and magazines.
He is the author of In the Spotlight: The Essential Guide to Giving Great Media Interviews, The Canadian Guide to Managing the Media and Managing the Media.

Rosemary brings to Shiller Media a wealth of experience in journalism, corporate communications and project management. She is an inveterate researcher, problem solver and creative thinker with an uncanny abilitity to uncover hidden factual gems, spot logical inconsistences and weed through masses of trivia to discover essential truths. In addition to her current position with Shiller Media, Rosemary serves as Editorial Director at Yorkland Publishing.
